Taking
The location and environment of the greenery will affect how long
it will last.
Outdoors, try to
place it in an area that gets plenty of shade and out of direct
sunlight. Indoors, try to keep greenery
away from any
heat source and out of direct sunlight.
The cooler the location of the greens, the longer they will last.

A daily misting of water will prolong the life of the greens, whether it is indoors or out. Using an anti-transpirant such as Wilt-Pruf® or Keeps it Green™ will help prolong freshness. Anti-transpirants slow down water loss, and helps maintain green color, plus reduce fire hazard. All our handmade wreaths, crosses, decorated boughs and bouquets have already been treated with an anti-transpirant.

Fresh greenery used in bouquets should be treated like a cut flower. It should receive a fresh cut of 1 - 2 inches, then part of the stem pounded with a hammer to help water absorption.
