You can mount your air plant using a glue such as Liquid Nails or a Glue gun.  If using a glue gun, let the glue cool a few seconds, but not harden, before attaching your plant so it doesn't burn it.  Don't use super glue because it may kill the plant.  You can also use wire, fishing line, and even staples if they are only used on the roots.  Avoid harming any fleshy part of the plant.  Don't use anything that has copper (mounting or attaching) in it or it will kill your plant.  You can attach the plant to nearly any material as long as it won't be sitting in water and won't rust.
